NO PP PLOT TO HARM ROWLEY: PM KAMLA

PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar greets supporters on arrival at UNC Regional office in Claxton Bay
Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar on Tuesday night stated that no one in her pp government was involved in any plot to kill opposition leader Keith Rowley.

Speaking on CNMG television from Caxton Bay where she was screening candidates for the September 7 general election Mrs Persad Bissessar said the charge by Rowley was irresponsible.

The PM also said her government has not paid anyone to write about Rowley. She said if Rowley has any evidence to support his wild claims he should take it to police.

She also said while she and her PP coalition have presented a plan to take TT forward the pnm is yet to show that it has a plan.

Mrs Persad Bissessar added that all 41 PP candidates would be presented on Sunday at a mass rally at the Ato Bolden Stadium in Couva on Sunday starting at three in the afternoon.
