Debates Commission chose July 30 for Kamla/Rowley debate

The Chairman of the PNM is trying to give the impression that the PNM did not agree to the July 30 date for the debate bewteen Kamla Persad-Bissassar and Keith Rowley and that the date was a UNC date.
 
That is not true. The Debates Commission chose the date and communicated that to Mrs Persad-Bissessar's negotiator, Larry Lalla via email.

Local media quoted Khan as saying the PNM “re-thought our position and found that the debate should be held after nomination day…based on the rules and regulations of the commission.”
